Last night we attended the MOMA Awards, and we are proud to have won a MOMA Award, for our NHS Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals app, in the Best Public Sector Mobile Strategy/ Campaign category.
To represent Appitized, our CEO, Chairman, and Executive Director collected the award on behalf of the team of designers, developers and project managers who worked hard to make this useful concept a reality.
The Trust wanted to streamline the process of finding important information in their Emergency Procedure Handbook to deliver a more effective service in emergency situations and improve patient care.
The mobile app allows staff to search for specific phrases and terms on the go. It improves efficiency as it allows users to access the information they require directly from mobile devices and stops them trying to find seniors for support. More importantly however, it ensures that the Trust are proving quality care to their patients which is in keeping with Trust recommendations.
Our CEO, Jamie Wilson, spoke about the evening, saying:
“We had a great night, surrounded by industry professionals who have demonstrated some outstanding work within the mobile industry. I am extremely proud of everybody at Appitized who have helped us achieve such great success.”
This award is a milestone for Appitized; as a rapidly growing business who formed in 2012, and we are immensely proud of all we have achieved within this short space of time.
